Green Treated
Green Treated is the strongest, most common, and least expensive of all decking material. Green treated wood is created by forcing chemical preservatives into the wood under high pressure. Treated wood will vary in a yellow-green hue, but will all fade over time. It is nature of wood to warp, shrink, crack, and check over time. Yearly sealant application is advised.

*The industry has recently switched from CCA (Chromated Copper Arsenate) to ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quat) because of potential health problems from exposure.
