Footings
- 18"-20" footing diameter
- 10"-12" embedded concrete footing
- holes are backfilled and extra dirt is removed
Posts
- 6x6 green treated, .06 retention per plan
- 4x4 green treated, .04 retention for stair support per plan
Ledger
- Flashing with 2 3/8x5" 16"on center
Beam
- 2x10 double girder with lobbed off edges
Joists
- 2x10 crowned up,16" on center (12" on center with 45 degree angle decking)
Decking
- 5/4" decking fasened by screws and ran parallel with the house
Railing
- 2x2 balusters spaced 3.5" (per code) fastened with scews
- 5/4 deck board for top cap
Stairs
- 36" wide
- gripable handrail (per code)
- toe kicks (backing of stairs)
- 2x12 stair stringers
- 2x2 balusters spaced 3.5"
