Our Job Process
The following is the process of your new deck construction.
1. Sales representatives will meet with home owner to formulate a deck design and obtain an estimate.
2. A signed contract along with 50% of the construction cost down starts the process.
3. We will obtain the call before you dig through Gopher State One Call. This takes approimately 2-5 business days before the job is marked clear.
4. We then apply for the building permit.
5. Once the call before you dig is clear, the post holes are dug.
6. We then arrange for inspection of the holes with building safety (approximately 1-2 days).
7. When the inspection is clear, we pour the cement footing and allow the cement to cure (appoximately 1-2 days).
8. Then the construction of the deck begins. This process usually lasts 1-3 days on the average, depending on size.
9. Once the construction is complete, we will do a final clean up and arrange for the lumber yard to pick up any unused material.
10. Final inspection of the deck is arranged with building safety (approximately 1-2 days).
11. Once the inspection is finalized and the customer is satisfied with the project, we collect final payment.
